The online home of science fiction and fantasy writer Amy Treadwell, author, teacher, and stained glass artist.
When I started writing, I began listening closer, observing texture, scent, the fall of light. I became more present. I slowed down to experience the joy of each moment. I didn’t need to look for ideas. They lay in my memory like old photos. I breathed them in with the evening air. I have more ideas than I can write.
